Susan is a 35-year-old married women with two children, age 5 and 10 months. About five months ago she noticed she started to have headaches and became more fatigue. She always feel tired and cannot sleep well anymore but did not think anything of it, she thought it was because she is a mom of two now. Her husband became worried when she showed signs of not interacting with the children anymore, cooking and cleaning less. She barley talk to her friends or family anymore or go on her daily walks. Susan stay in bed and isolated and she will have crying spells out of no where; she feels hopeless and worthless. Her husband took leave from work and stayed home and help more; but nothing has changed 2 mothers later. He took her to speak with a therapist and Susan has been diagnosis with Major Depressive Disorder.
