Respond to the following statement:

The
definition of a gang is categorized as five or more persons that engage in and
requires a condition of membership to partake in felonious activities.  Types of
gangs are juvenile, female, taggers, motorcycle and street are all part of this
structure.  Many people nationally have been victimized by gang violence and
activity in their communities as well as business owners.

Law
enforcement is working on strategies to assist on this issue.  In my community
gang activity is decreasing.  Crime watches and community involvement has played
a tremendous role in cutting down gang activity. Monitoring suspicious
activities and reporting it to the police are strategies that appear to be
effective measures in gang violence.
