Even the smartest students need writing assistance at some point during their academic career. Should you lock yourself in a room and spend the entire weekend trying to write a paper? We promise you that the paper that you pay for won’t be resold or submitted elsewhere. It will also be written according to the instructions that you and your professor provide. Our excellent essays stand out among the rest for a reason. Don’t just take our word, check them out by yourself.

For this week’s journal entry, I would like you to familiarize yourself with Open Secrets (www.opensecrets.org (Links to an external site.))–a website that provides a wealth of information related related to the role of money in politics. If this website piques your interest, you might also want to check out the Sunlight Foundation (http://sunlightfoundation.com/projects/ (Links to an external site.)), although that is not required for this assignment. I’ve pasted a small sample of provocative links from Open Secrets below–please check them out–but I expect you to go beyond these links and explore the site on your own.

As I said, Open Secrets has a lot of great data related to the influence of money on our political process. The numbers are still coming in for the 2016 election, but please play around with the data and find out what you can learn. In your journal response, I would like you to reflect on the information that you come across while on the website. What did you learn? What surprised you? What angered you? What frustrated you? What confused you? What coincides with the reading? What deviates from the reading? Etc. Please be specific and show me that you actually engaged with these websites and did the reading. Shallow journal responses will be penalized–I want specifics. I hope you appreciate the wealth of information on these sites. Don’t forget the 300 word minimum.
